Roatary Machine Upkeep

NACH Rotary Machine Upkeep Advantage

Varnish handling problems in repair shops or manufacturing units are simplified
• Impregnation procedures are straightforward and confined to relevant standards
• Impregnated component quality complies Indian and international standards
• Wide range of impregnation solutions are made available, like epoxy, varnish or resin to oil impregnation system (for regular repair or maintenance shops to    motor/transformer OEM) from manual control to microprocessor based control
• Structural simplicity induces operator friendliness and makes the units suitable for continuous operations over 72 hrs
• Prices that match customer budget

Impregnation System

Impregnation plants are generally required in electrical industry. These plants are utilized for impregnating coils of LT/HT machines with varnishes or resins. Impregnation process improves the insulation resistance. The process also enhances overall performance of the part or machine in which the impregnated coils are used. Impregnation also increases the component life and hence now it is turning out to be a mandatory process for electrical industry.

There are following methods of impregnation:
• Dipping Method.
• Vacuum Impregnation.
• Trickle or Rotary Impregnation.

The impregnation process plant is frilled with additional components to reduce wastage of impregnant and improve process efficiency.

Following are the accessories:

• Stirrer
• Chiller
• Air Compressor
• Heating System
• Filters and Vapour Traps
• Automatic Lid Opening/Closing and Clamping/De-clamping
• Actuated Valves
• Digital Instrumentation with Automatic Control

Dipping Method

Storage tank and the dipping or impregnating chamber form the system. Coils are kept in the dipping tank. Resin is pumped in the dipping tank and the coils get plastered with resin in this chamber. Storage tank can be provided with a stirring facility. Accessories like chillers can be provided to maintain the pot-life of the resin. Heating the impregnated coils can also be facilitated. Additional pressure arrangement for transfer of varnish/resin from storage tank to impregnating chamber is recommended.
